BIOGRAPHY
OBSCURITAS AETERNUS was originally formed by three members; Alfred Burd-vocals & guitars, Manuel Camilleri(gassu)-drums & Simon Taylor-guitars. We were desperately seeking for a bassist and finally Maiden joined the band, but unfortunately Simon left because of musical tastes.We were at a loss, but thanks to the constant urging of Maiden we kept alive our hope of completing the band. Three months later Toni Theuma joined the group as rhythm guitarist. Only a few weeks after the band was complete again, we had an opportunity to play at Rock Cafe with two other bands.We worked hard but we were still worried of the outcome. However the crowd of Rock Cafe was massive & after the show we had many words of praise from those present. OBSCURITAS had more opportunities of live gigs, two of which where at the Abyss in Bugibba and another one @ Rock Cafe again. Alfred left the group and we were desperately lacking a vocalist & a guitarist. Obscuritas continued practicing & arranging their previous material until Wenzu joined as lead guitarist and Tusu an old fan & friend of the band joined as vocalist. Maiden came out with the idea of making a demo. With the help of Edward Ellul(Precedence vocalist), we began recording the demo. Edward also joined Obscuritas as a session keyboardist. A year after we last played live, we had the opportunity to play again. This time the venue was at Dempsey`s bar at Bugibba. Dempsey`s had never before seen the crowd of people who came that day! We played once more at the opening weekend of THE EDGE in bugibba even though we were working at the studio. Finally, Mario the new keyboardist joined the band which made us more melodic & influential.

Then we had a new drumer Bruce Cauchi. He was a big surprise to all, in a positive and negative way. hehe, but we have to say a big "GET WELL SOON" to gassu!!(Fuck`n car drivers). The last Member who joined the band was Franswa! He had a metal talent for the band and we were doing Grrrrrreat!!~
But Shit happens!! And NOW for personal Band Reasons OBSCURITAS AETERNUS is Gone!!~ ;( End Of An Era )
